Annual check-ups
All patients attending our Outpatient Care Unit are generally assessed at least once a year as part of an annual check-up.
This annual check-up comprises basic examinations in the form of a physiotherapy check-up, an occupational therapy check-up, and a medical check-up. When needed, examinations in other disciplines which our centre offers are added to this. These may include examinations in neurourology, radiology, orthopaedics or any other specialist areas offered at our centre.
The annual check-up provides an overall view of your current situation and any potential problems, to you as a patient and to us as doctors.
Depending on the results of these various examinations, we work with you to set out the further therapeutic and medical process. We discuss with you whether additional examinations, supplementary diagnosis, or other measures are required. At the end of this annual check-up, you know precisely what your tailored treatment plan looks like and what the next steps are in your holistic care as a patient.
