The Centre for Pain Medicine in Nottwil has hosted international, national, and regional conferences, workshops, and further training events regularly since 1999. In addition, many colleagues working on an interdisciplinary basis have taken, and continue to take, the opportunity to attend practical further training (sitting in on classes) at our organisation. Regular pain conferences and colloquia with our direct partners (general practitioners and specialists, referring doctors, and purchasers) complete our programme in this respect.
In particular, the 80-hour pain course is performed jointly with our collaborative partner Lucerne Cantonal Hospital (LUKS), Clinic for Anaesthesia, Trauma Medicine, and Pain Therapy (led by Prof. Dr. med. Christoph Konrad).
The Berufsverband Deutscher Anästhesisten (Professional Association of German Anaesthetists) is our partner for specific advanced and further training in pain medicine.
