At the request of the Swiss Paraplegic Centre (SPC) Board of Directors, the Board of Trustees of the Swiss Paraplegic Foundation has appointed Luca Jelmoni as the new SPC Director. He will succeed Hans Peter Gmünder, who is retiring early. Mirjana Bosnjakovic has also been chosen as the new Managing Director of ParaHelp.

With retrospective effect from 1 January 2019, the Swiss Air Ambu-lance Rega will take over 50 per cent of shares in SIRMED, the Swiss Institute of Emergency Medicine, a subsidiary of the Swiss Paraplegic Foundation. This means that, from now on, SIRMED will be supported by Switzerland's two largest benefactor organisations.

Aline Isoz und Martin Werfeli nehmen neu im Stiftungsrat der Schweizer Paraplegiker-Stiftung Einsitz. Vier langjährige Mitglieder des Stiftungsrates sind hingegen zurückgetreten. Somit besteht das Gremium neu nur noch aus neun statt elf Personen. Dadurch wird die Effizienz und die Handlungsfähigkeit des Stiftungsrates weiter erhöht.

Der neue Direktor des Hotels Sempachersee in Nottwil heisst Torsten Pinter. Der erfahrene Hotelier tritt seine Stelle am 1. März 2019 an.
