The objective is to learn the basic theoretical and practical principles of treatment with functional electrical stimulation in neurorehabilitation for disorders affecting ambulation.

Target audience
- Physicians working in the fields of neurology, rehabilitation, pediatrics and general medicine
- Physiotherapists, occupational therapists, sports therapists and human movement scientists working in the clinical or private practice settings who are treating patients with gait-related disorders of various etiologies
Execution
The course is carried out in a hybrid form. Depending on the applicable health guidelines, a limited number of participants can take part in the International FES Centre® in the Swiss Paraplegic Centre Nottwil. The number of online participants via Zoom is unlimited.
Official regulations will determine whether the event will be able to take place on site in Nottwil. If it is not possible to hold the event in Nottwil, the course will be held completely online. The SPC will not cover any travel or hotel costs that may already have been booked.

Costs
On-site participants
CHF 450.00 without meals
Participants on site bear the costs of their lunch.
On-site participants will be able to test a selection of stimulation devices for walking on Saturday afternoon (18.11.2023 from 13:30 – 15:45); e.g.: FESIA walk, Bioness, Walk Aid, Incedo
Online participants
CHF 370.00
For the online participants, the course ends on the 18.11.2023 at 01.00 pm.

Registration deadline: 15 October 2023
Registrations will be accepted in the order they arrive. The course organisers reserve the right to cancel the course if there are insufficient participants. Minimum number of participants: 30.
The SPC will not cover any travel or hotel costs that may already have been booked.
Cancellation
If you are unable to attend the course, please contact the organiser in writing or by e-mail as soon as possible. Cancellation costs and administrative fees will be charged to the customer. In the case of cancellations up to 22 days before the start of the course, participants will be charged CHF 20.00/EUR 15.00 to cover administrative costs. The organiser is entitled to charge the following cancellation fees from 21 days before the start of the course:
