In collaboration with the gynaecological team at Lucerne Cantonal Hospital Sursee (LUKS), we offer paralysis-specific gynaecological services. The examinations take place at the Swiss Paraplegic Centre (SPC) facilities.
The paralysis-specific consultation services we offer
- Gynaecological check-ups (including breast)
- Advice on contraceptive methods
- Clarifications on (unfulfilled) desire to have children
- Prenatal preparation, support and check-ups in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Gynaecological, breast and obstetric ultrasound examinations
- Advice on menstrual cycle disorders and menopause symptoms
- Follow-up treatment and tumour monitoring for malignant changes in the breast, uterus and ovaries
- Corresponding laboratory tests
