Hand and Tetrahand Surgery

The Department of Hand and Tetrahand Surgery is a unique center of excellence in Europe for patients with functional limitations of the upper extremities due to neurological diseases or injuries (spinal cord injury, peripheral nerve injuries). The highly specialized hand team has many years of experience in the field of nerve and tendon transfers, which can restore certain arm and hand functions. Surgical treatment of spastic deformities of the upper extremities is also part of our center's expertise. Through close collaboration between hand surgeons and hand therapists, we ensure comprehensive care from the initial assessment to treatment after surgery.
