The Nottwil campus is quick and easy to find, no matter which direction you are coming from. We can be reached by car, as well as by public transport.
By train or bus
The campus is a ten-minute walk from the railway station in Nottwil, where there are trains every half hour to and from Lucerne, and (via Sursee) to and from Basel, Bern, Geneva and Zurich. Both the Nottwil train station and the path to the SPC are wheelchair accessible. The SPC and GZI also benefit from their own bus stop on the regional bus network route.
Coming by car
Nottwil lies on the A2 motorway (connecting Basel and Lucerne). Take the Sursee exit and continue for about 10 minutes, following the signposts to the SPC and GZI. A car park is available on the premises (payment required).
There are two car parks on the Nottwil campus. Car park A/B is located at the SPC while car park C/D is situated near the Hotel Sempachersee and Guido A. Zäch Institute. Additional parking can be found along Guido A. Zäch Strasse and at the military hospital. Payment is required for all parking.
