Arrival and parking

Nottwil Campus can be reached quickly and easily from all directions, both by public transport as well as individually by car or bike.

By train

If you travel by train, you will have a 13-minute walk in natural surroundings. Nottwil station and the path to Nottwil Campus are wheelchair accessible.Trains run every half hour to and from Lucerne and (via Sursee) to and from Basel, Bern, Geneva and Zurich.

By bus

The Swiss Paraplegic Centre and the ParaForum Visitor Centre (Nottwil station, SPC) as well as the Guido A. Zäch Institute and the Hotel & Conference Centre Sempachersee (Nottwil station, SPC or Nottwil station, Eymatt) are connected by their own bus stop to the regional bus network. At peak times, these run four times an hour to and from Sursee.

With bike/Nextbike

Covered and non-covered bike parking spaces are avail-able if you travel by bike.

The bike rental service Nextbike can be used as a con-nection between Nottwil station and Nottwil Campus. There are three rental stations on Nottwil Campus – at the bus stop SPC, from the Guido A. Zäch Institute and at the Sport Arena.

By car

Nottwil is not far from the A2 motorway (connecting Basel to Lucerne). Take the Sursee exit and follow the signs to Nottwil Campus. Two fee-based multi-storey car parks are available here. Parking fees are 2 francs per hour and a maximum of 12 francs per day. Four loading points for electric cars are available. Ideally, you can reach the Swiss Paraplegic Centre and the ParaForum Visitor Cen-tre from parking garage A/B, and the Hotel & Conference Centre Sempachersee as well as the Guido A. Zäch Institute from parking garage C/D.
